ECI Data Networking Division is an active participant
in organizations promoting industry collaboration to ensure interoperability
and advance the development of next-generation technology.

ECI is a member of the DSL Forum, an international industry consortium
of nearly 200 leading service providers, equipment manufacturers
and other interested parties, focused on developing the full potential
of broadband DSL to meet the needs of the mass market. With the
established goal of 200 million customers by 2005, the DSL Forum
works to streamline processes, develop specifications and share
best practices that set the stage for effective deployments, and
explosive global DSL growth. By developing new standards and embracing
new applications, the DSL Forum is tailoring DSL to meet the needs
of the next generation of multi-media services and the online
community.

ECI is a member of TIA, the leading trade association servicing
the communications and information technology industry. Through
its worldwide activities, the association facilitates business
development opportunities and a competitive market environment.
The association provides a market-focused forum for its more than
1,100 member companies that manufacture or supply the products
and services used in global communications. TIA represents the
communications sector of the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA).

ECI is a member of the USTA (United States Telecom Association).
USTA is the premier trade association representing service providers
and suppliers for the telecom industry. USTAs 1,200 member
companies offer a wide range of services, including local exchange,
long distance, wireless, Internet and cable television service.
As the voice of the converged telecommunications industry in Washington,
USTA advocates for the industrys critical issues before
Congress, regulators, the courts, the White House and the media.

ECI is a member of the National Telecommunications Cooperative
Association (NTCA), "the voice of rural telecommunications,"
is the premiere non-profit association representing more than
560 small and rural telephone cooperatives and commercial companies.
NTCA is a full-service association, offering a wide array of member
services, including a highly effective government affairs program;
expert legal and industry representation; a broad range of educational
services; a comprehensive assortment of regular and special publications
and public relations programs; and a well-rounded complement of
national and regional meetings.
