Laurel Networks Names VP of Worldwide
Sales and Customer Support
Seasoned Telecom Executive to Lead Direct
and Channel Global Sales and Support Efforts
March 31, 2004 - Pittsburgh, PA - Laurel
Networks, Inc., the first provider of high-performance service
edge routers, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Bierman
to the position of vice president of worldwide sales and customer
support. In this role, he will lead Laurel's rapidly growing direct
and channel global sales and customer support efforts.
Mr. Bierman has nearly 20 years of sales
management experience, most recently as the sales director of
Americas Channel Operations for Juniper Networks. While at Juniper,
he was instrumental in creating strategic sales partnerships that
contributed significant revenue growth. Prior to Juniper, Mr.
Bierman managed service provider channel sales at Cisco Systems,
forming strategic alliances with a number of leading Tier One
carriers.
