About Laurel Networks' ST-series Router
The ST-series is the first broadband platform architected specifically
to deliver high performance across multiple services with many
subscribers. The ST-series delivers the most bandwidth-per subscriber
at the lowest cost while enabling dynamic policy-based services
without sacrificing performance. Unlike solutions that require
service-specific line cards, ST-series broadband functionality
is enabled via Laurel's ShadeTree system software, enabling
wire-speed broadband support on any card installed on the ST-series
platform with no additional hardware required.
About Laurel Networks
Laurel Networks delivers reliable,
future-ready routing for multi-service broadband networks. Laurel's
technology helps service providers transition from the standard
Internet-only service delivery model into full-fledged triple-play
networks. Designed for enhanced network scalability, Laurel's
ST-series routers allow carriers to add advanced broadband
applications, like video on demand or voice over IP, without incremental
cost as the subscriber base grows.
Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
Laurel operates sales and support facilities across the US, Europe
and Asia. Its routers are deployed by some of the world's largest
service providers including: Level 3 Communications, KT, Dacom,
and Arsys. The company also maintains strategic partnerships with
Ciena, the network specialist, and with Marconi, a global telecommunications
equipment, services and solutions company. For
